Harley-Davidson Motor Company is an American manufacturer of motorcycles and a certified supplier of military products for the US Armed Forces, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with production facilities in other regions of the United States and outside the country. The company produces and sells heavy motorcycles designed for highway driving.
In 2008, the company bought back 100% of the MV Agusta Group company, which produces motorcycles under the brands MV Agusta and Cagiva, from the Castiglioni family.
The lineup of the brand is very diverse and includes the main lines of motorcycles: Street, Sportster, Softail, Touring, Trike. In addition, there is still a line of specially modified motorcycles by the factory custom-studio CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations). The key differences between CVO models are manual assembly, special graphics and accessories, as well as the most powerful engine with a capacity of 117 cubic inches (1.92 liters).
In each line there are motorcycles with a predominance of dark colors and a minimum of chrome in the decoration, the so-called Dark Custom line.
